This is a plarn Roman helmet I crocheted in about an hour. The crest took me about two hours to make and put together. Unfortunately, I didn't have any red plastic bags so I spray painted a brown plastic bag with red paint and used it to make the crest. I didn't do a good job at spray painting the bag and thats why the crest looks kind of off color in some areas. I don't think I will be spray painting bags again. I prefer to crochet with plastic bags that I dont need to alter.
